From Survival to Success: Our Women's Journeys

Through their journeys of healing and hope, these women show us what's possible when courage meets support.

Mary Awinja's journey

Born in 1984, she is married with 4 children. Her highest grade level is class 4. She was treated at gynocare. She had fistula for 6 years before treatment. Her economic needs are to get finances to start a business from which she would take care of her family.

Carol

Carol got her fistula with her second child, who later died. She had a successful delivery after being treated. Carol is our head seamstress and has invested her income in livestock.

Elsie and Mercy

Our young KQFE stars have just completed their exams—and they’ve done us proud! From late-night study sessions to endless determination, these kids have shown what it truly means to rise above and shine. Their achievements are a testament to the power of support, encouragement, and the right to quality education. We couldn't be prouder of each and every one of them!
