KQFE Objectives: Building a Brighter Future through Empowerment and Innovation

Welcome to Kenya Quilts For Empowerment (KQFE), where our objectives form the cornerstone of our mission to create lasting change in the lives of women, girls, and communities across Kenya. Through a combination of innovation, compassion, and resilience, we are dedicated to empowering individuals to overcome challenges, embrace opportunities, and thrive.

By 2030, have an established organization and stable support from around.

To support the welfare and overall economic development of the impoverished, fistula survivors and young sexual assault survivors.

• To support the welfare and overall economic development of neglected children, particularly girls, who are in need of care and protection

To improve access to basic needs with a focus to giving educational opportunities to survivors of sexual assaults.

To improve the wellbeing of the impoverished and young sexual assault survivors through Psychosocial support.

• To improve the quality of life and poverty alleviation.

• To rescue, rehabilitate and promote the welfare and rights of neglected children or any other children in need of care and protection and to provide nutrition, shelter, health Care and schooling to such children.

• To improve knowledge of the beneficiaries by offering them an opportunity to go to school.

• To increase general awareness among all categories of people on fistula and its related problems with specific attention to the girl child.

• To increase collaboration plans with other organizations, bodies or individuals whether national or international but having advocacy strategies for the similar cause as laid herein.

• To teach Quilting to impoverished women, fistula survivors and young sexual assault survivors.

You can Became a member.

  • To qualify as a member, one must:
    1. Agree with the mission and vision of the CBO above and be willing to support the work of the CBO.
    2. Sign the membership pledge.
    3. Institutional members may be admitted from time to time.
    4. Names of members will always appear in Annexure 1 of the constitution
    5. Alumni who have completed the program automatically become members of the CBO.
    6. Any member desiring to resign from the CBO may do so by submitting his/her resignation in writing to the general secretary.
    7. One may also cease to be a member if he/she becomes of unsound mind, is deemed unfit, and /or incapable of acting in a way to promote the objectives of the CBO.
